CubeCart Integration
An AI chatbot that answers your shoppers on every page of your CubeCart store
Overview
CubeCart is an open source shopping cart. The Asyntai AI Chatbot extension adds an AI chat to your storefront that answers your shoppers day and night.
Shoppers ask about products, sizes, shipping, returns and payment, and get an answer at once from what is on your store and in the knowledge you add. The chat can also collect the email address or phone number of a shopper who wants a reply from your team, so no sale waits for office hours.
How It Works
The extension adds the Asyntai chat to every storefront page. It loads after the rest of the page, so your store opens as fast as before.
You shape the chatbot in the Asyntai dashboard: add pages, files and frequent questions, choose its colours and greeting, and read every conversation.
Requirements
- CubeCart 6
- An Asyntai account. The free plan is enough to start, and you can create it from the extension.
- A CubeCart administrator account that can manage extensions
Installation
Follow these steps to add Asyntai to CubeCart:
Add the Extension
In your CubeCart admin, open Extensions → Manage Extensions and install Asyntai AI Chatbot from the marketplace. Or download the extension, unzip it and upload the Asyntai_AI_Chatbot folder into modules/plugins of your store.
Open Its Settings
In Manage Extensions, find Asyntai AI Chatbot and open it.
Connect Your Account
Press Connect Asyntai. A new window opens where you create a free Asyntai account or sign in. When you finish there, the settings page saves the connection and the chat is live on your store.
Settings
- Show the chatbot — switches the chat on or off for the whole store.
- Hide it during checkout — keeps the checkout pages free of the chat, if you prefer.
- Widget ID — filled in by Connect. You can also paste the ID, or the whole install snippet, from your Asyntai dashboard.
Press Open Asyntai dashboard to train the chatbot on your store, change its look and read every chat.
Tip: Add your shipping times, return rules and size guides to the Knowledge Base in the Asyntai dashboard. The chat then answers these questions for your shoppers directly.
Removing It
Press Disconnect on the settings page, or switch Show the chatbot off and save. The chat disappears from your store on the next page view. To remove the extension completely, delete it in Manage Extensions.
