Browser Extension

Your chats, leads and tickets in a side panel, next to any page

Overview

The Asyntai browser extension puts your AI chat agent in a side panel. Press the Asyntai icon and the panel opens next to whatever page you are on. You read the newest chats from your website, the leads your agent collected, and your open support tickets, without leaving the page you are working on.

The same panel adds any page you are looking at to your knowledge base with one press, and lets you ask your own agent a question to see how it answers.

The extension works in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and any other browser built on Chromium.

What the Panel Shows

  • Inbox — the newest chats on your website. Press one and read the whole conversation, message by message.
  • Leads — every visitor who left an email address or a phone number, with the page they were on.
  • Tickets — your support tickets, with the number, the status and the visitor.
  • Ask — a chat box that talks to your own agent, so you can test an answer from any page.

The toolbar icon carries a number when new chats arrive. The number clears when you open the panel.

Add This Page to My Chatbot

The button at the top of the panel sends the address of the page you are on to your knowledge base. Asyntai reads the page and your agent can answer about it a moment later.

Use it while you browse. A new help article, a new product page, a supplier's specification sheet: one press adds each one. You do not need to open the dashboard and paste an address.

Tip: The button needs a normal web page. A browser settings page or a new tab page has nothing to read, and the panel says so.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome 114 or later, Microsoft Edge, or another Chromium browser
  • An Asyntai account on the Starter plan or higher, because the extension uses the Asyntai API

Installation

Follow these steps to add Asyntai to your browser:

Install the Extension

Open the Chrome Web Store, find Asyntai AI Chatbot, and press Add to Chrome.

Pin the Icon

Press the puzzle piece in the browser toolbar, find Asyntai, and press the pin. The Asyntai icon then stays in the toolbar.

Connect Your Account

Press the Asyntai icon, then press Connect. A window opens on asyntai.com. Sign in, press Connect again, and the window closes on its own.

Open the Panel

Press the Asyntai icon on any page. The panel opens with your chats in the Inbox tab.

Disconnecting

Press Disconnect at the bottom of the panel. The extension forgets your account at once. To remove the extension, right press the Asyntai icon and choose Remove from Chrome.

Privacy

The extension calls the Asyntai API with your own API key, which stays in your browser. Privacy policy.

The extension is free. It uses the Asyntai API, which needs the Starter plan or higher. View pricing.
