Add the Asyntai AI chatbot to your ClassicPress site
Overview
ClassicPress is a content management system. The Asyntai plugin puts an AI chatbot on your ClassicPress site. Asyntai reads your pages and posts, then answers your visitors in their own language, day and night.
A visitor can leave an email address or a phone number in the chat. That lead goes straight to your Asyntai dashboard.
How It Works
You press one button in the ClassicPress admin area. A window opens, you sign in to Asyntai, and the connection is made. The plugin then puts the chat widget on every page of your site.
Asyntai reads your public pages and posts so the answers match what your site says. On a WooCommerce shop it also reads the catalogue, so the chatbot answers with today's price, the stock level and a link to the product page.
Requirements
- ClassicPress 1.4 or later
- PHP 7.2 or later
- An Asyntai account. A free account is enough to start.
- Permission to install plugins on your site
Installation
Follow these steps to add Asyntai to ClassicPress:
Download the Plugin
Open the ClassicPress Plugin Directory, find Asyntai AI Chatbot, and download the ZIP file.
Upload It
In your ClassicPress admin area, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP file and press Install Now.
Activate It
Press Activate Plugin. A new item called Asyntai AI Chatbot appears in the sidebar.
Connect Your Account
Open Asyntai AI Chatbot and press Get started. Sign in to Asyntai, or create a free account, in the window that opens. The chatbot appears on your site as soon as the window closes.
Tip: If your browser blocks the window, press the open the connect window link under the button.
WooCommerce Shops
If WooCommerce is active, the plugin makes a read-only WooCommerce REST key and hands it to Asyntai during the connect step. The chatbot then answers with the product name, today's price, the stock level and a link to the product page.
Press Reset on the plugin screen and the key is deleted from your site.
Changing the Chatbot
Everything about the chatbot lives in your Asyntai dashboard: the colour, the greeting, the instructions, the knowledge base and the chat logs. Press Open Asyntai Panel on the plugin screen to go there.
Removing It
Press Reset on the plugin screen. That disconnects the site and deletes the read-only WooCommerce key. Then go to Plugins, deactivate Asyntai AI Chatbot, and delete it.
Privacy
The plugin connects your site to Asyntai, which answers your visitors' messages. Privacy policy.
