Airbyte Integration

Copy your Asyntai chats, leads and tickets into your own data warehouse

Create Account

Overview

Airbyte is a data pipeline tool. It copies data out of the services a company uses and loads it into one database. A piece that reads one service is called a source connector.

Asyntai is the Asyntai source connector. It puts every chat, every message, every lead and every ticket into your warehouse, next to your sales and product data. Your analysts then answer questions that need both sides: which pages start the most chats, which questions come before a purchase, and how fast your team answers.

What You Get

The connector creates four tables:

  • sessions — one row per chat, with the page, the country, the message count and the reply times
  • messages — one row per message, with the full text and who wrote it
  • leads — the chats where the visitor left an email address or a phone number
  • tickets — support tickets, with the times they were assigned, answered and resolved

All four tables carry a session_id column, so you join them on that. Airbyte writes them to any destination it supports, for example Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres.

Requirements

  • Airbyte Cloud, or Airbyte Open Source
  • An Asyntai account on the Starter plan or higher, because the connector uses the Asyntai API
  • A destination set up in Airbyte

Installation

Follow these steps to load your Asyntai data:

1

Get Your API Key

Sign in to Asyntai, open Settings, then API, and copy your API key.

2

Add the Source

In Airbyte, open Sources, press New source, and choose Asyntai.

3

Paste the API Key

Paste your key into the API key box. Set Start date if you only want recent data. Leave it as it is to copy the whole history. Press Set up source.

4

Build the Connection

Choose your destination, pick the four streams, and set how often the copy runs. Airbyte does the rest.

Sync Modes

The sessions, leads and tickets tables support incremental sync. Each run reads only what is new since the last one, so a daily copy stays fast as your history grows.

The messages table is a child of sessions. It reads the messages of the chats that came back in the parent table.

Tip: A question and its answer are saved on one row and share one timestamp, so the difference between them is always zero. Use first_response_time_ms on sessions, or response_time_ms on an assistant message, to report reply times.

Example Questions To Ask

  • Which product pages start the most chats?
  • What do visitors ask in the hour before they buy?
  • How fast does the team answer, by day and by country?
  • Which chat topics turn into a support ticket?

Removing It

In Airbyte, open the connection and press Delete. Then delete the Asyntai source. The tables stay in your warehouse until you drop them yourself.

Privacy

The connector reads your own chat data with your own API key, and writes it to the destination you choose. Privacy policy.

Plans & Pricing

The connector is free. It uses the Asyntai API, which needs the Starter plan or higher. View pricing.
