Aprende a usar Asyntai

Xperience by Kentico Integration

Put the Asyntai AI chat assistant on your Kentico website channels

Create Account

Overview

Xperience by Kentico is a digital experience platform. The Asyntai package adds the AI chat assistant to your website channels.

Asyntai reads your own pages, documents and product feed. It then answers visitor questions in more than 80 languages, day and night. It answers questions about delivery, prices, opening hours and products. When a visitor wants a person, it takes their email address and sends you the whole conversation.

A marketer sets it up in the Xperience administration. Choose the website channel, paste the chatbot ID, and save.

Requirements

  • Xperience by Kentico 31.4.0 or newer
  • .NET 8.0 or newer
  • An Asyntai account
  • Permission to change the web project and to open Configuration in the Xperience administration

Installation

Follow these steps to add Asyntai to Xperience by Kentico:

1

Add the Package

In the folder of your Xperience web project, run:

dotnet add package Asyntai.Xperience.Chatbot
2

Register the Integration

Open Program.cs. Add this line next to the other Kentico registrations:

builder.Services.AddKenticoAsyntai();

Start the application. The package creates its own module and database table on the first start.

3

Get Your Chatbot ID

Sign in to Asyntai and open your dashboard. Copy the chatbot ID from the install snippet.

4

Add the Chatbot in Xperience

In the Xperience administration, open Configuration → Asyntai AI Chatbot. Press Add a chatbot. Fill in a name, choose the website channel, paste the chatbot ID, and save.

5

Open Your Website

Open any page of that channel. The chat button appears in the corner. Ask it a question about your site.

Settings

Each chatbot configuration has these fields:

  • Name — a name for this configuration, for example "Public website".
  • Website channel — the channel that shows this assistant.
  • Asyntai chatbot ID — the ID from the Asyntai install snippet.
  • Show the chat assistant on this channel — turns the assistant on or off.
  • Also show it in Page Builder and preview — off by default, so editors work on a clean page.
  • Script address — leave empty to use the Asyntai address.

Tip: Add one configuration for each website channel. A multi-site project can run a different chatbot on each site, each with its own knowledge and its own language.

Several Channels

The package reads the website channel of the page that the visitor opens. It then shows the chatbot of that channel. Channels without a configuration show no chat assistant.

How the Script Loads

The package adds a small loader at the end of the body tag. The loader waits for the page load event, then fetches the Asyntai widget script. A script tag added before that event holds the load event open until its request finishes, so waiting keeps your page speed measurements clean.

Removing It

Open Configuration → Asyntai AI Chatbot and delete the configuration, or clear the Show the chat assistant on this channel box. To remove the package, delete the AddKenticoAsyntai() line and run dotnet remove package Asyntai.Xperience.Chatbot.

Plans & Pricing

The package is free. View pricing for the Asyntai plans.
