Podio Integration
Send the leads your chatbot captures straight into your Podio workspace
Overview
Podio is where your team runs its work. The Asyntai integration brings your website leads into it. Your AI chatbot answers visitors day and night, and every visitor who leaves an email address or a phone number arrives in Podio as a new item.
Each item carries the address, the page the visitor was on, their country and the whole conversation. Your team opens the item and already knows what the person asked, so the first reply answers the real question.
How It Works
When you connect, Asyntai creates an app in the Podio workspace you choose. The app is called Asyntai Leads and holds six fields: Name, Email, Phone, Page, Country and Chat transcript.
From then on every captured lead becomes an item in that app. When the same person comes back and chats again, Asyntai adds the new conversation as a comment on their item, so one person stays one record.
Everything in Podio works on those items straight away: views, filters, workflows, tasks, comments and reports.
Requirements
- A Podio account with at least one workspace
- An Asyntai account with a website and the chat widget installed
- Permission to create an app in that Podio workspace
Installation
Follow these steps to connect Podio:
Start the Connection
Open the Podio connect page, or find Podio in your Asyntai dashboard under Integrations.
Authorise Podio
Podio asks you to allow Asyntai. Press Allow. You stay signed in to Podio as yourself.
Choose a Workspace
Pick the workspace that receives the leads. Asyntai creates the Asyntai Leads app there for you. There is nothing to build by hand.
Test It
Open your website, chat with the bot and leave an email address. The lead appears in the Asyntai Leads app in Podio.
Tip: Lead capture must be on for the leads to flow. Asyntai turns it on for you when you connect Podio, and you can change the wording of the question in your widget settings.
What Lands in Podio
- Name — the visitor's name when they give it, otherwise the first part of the address
- Email and Phone — whatever the visitor left in the chat
- Page — the page they were reading when they chatted
- Country — resolved from the visitor's connection
- Chat transcript — the whole conversation, in order
Working With the Leads
The Asyntai Leads app is a normal Podio app, so you can change it. Add your own fields, build a view for new leads, set a workflow that creates a task for the right person, or relate the app to your existing sales app.
Keep the six fields Asyntai created. Renaming or deleting them stops new leads filling in.

The Podio integration is available on all Asyntai plans, including Free. View pricing.
Uninstalling
Disconnect from your Asyntai dashboard. Lead syncing stops at once. The Asyntai Leads app and every item already in Podio stay as they are.
