Overview
Stripe is where your payments, invoices and subscriptions live. The Asyntai app brings your website chats into it. Open a customer in Stripe, and the Asyntai drawer shows every chat that person had with your AI assistant on your website, with the full text of every message.
Your support and billing team reads what the customer already asked before they answer a refund request, an invoice question or a subscription change. Nobody asks the same question twice.
How It Works
Asyntai answers your visitors on your website, around the clock, from your own content. When a visitor leaves an email address in the chat, that chat becomes a lead.
The Stripe app matches the email address of a customer, invoice, subscription or payment to those leads. It shows the chats newest first, with every message: the visitor, the AI assistant, and any human agent who took over.
The app runs inside the Stripe Dashboard. Your Asyntai API key is stored once in Stripe's Secret Store, so every team member on your Stripe account sees the chats.
Requirements
- A Stripe account
- An Asyntai account on the Starter plan or higher, because the app uses the Asyntai API
- Administrator access to install apps in your Stripe account
Installation
Follow these steps to add Asyntai to Stripe:
Get Your API Key
Sign in to Asyntai, open Settings, then API, and copy your API key.
Install the App
Open the Asyntai AI Chatbot listing in the Stripe App Marketplace and press Install. Stripe shows the permissions the app uses and opens the app settings after the install.
Paste the API Key
In the app settings, paste your key into Asyntai API key and press Save changes. The app checks the key with Asyntai and shows Connected.
Open a Customer
Open any customer in the Stripe Dashboard and open the Asyntai AI Chatbot app in the right drawer. The chats of that customer appear, newest first. Press a chat to read the full conversation.
Where the Chats Appear
- Customers: the chats of the customer's email address
- Invoices and Subscriptions: the chats of the billed customer
- Payments: the chats of the payer, from the billing or receipt email
Tip: A customer shows their chats when the email address on the Stripe record is the address the visitor left in the chat on your website. The match is exact and ignores letter case.
Removing It
Open Settings → Installed apps → Asyntai AI Chatbot in Stripe and press Uninstall app. The drawer views disappear at once. To change the API key without an uninstall, open the same page and press Remove key.
Privacy
The app uses the email address of the Stripe record to find that customer's chats in Asyntai. Privacy policy.

The app is free. It uses the Asyntai API, which needs the Starter plan or higher. View pricing.
