nopCommerce Integration

Overview

The Asyntai plugin puts the chat bubble on every page of your nopCommerce store. You install it in the admin panel, paste your widget ID once, and the assistant answers your shoppers day and night in 36 languages.

How It Works

The plugin is a nopCommerce widget. It writes one small script at the end of the body on every storefront page, and that script loads the chat widget. It edits no theme file, and it changes nothing else on your pages.

The assistant answers from what Asyntai already knows about your shop. Asyntai reads your store pages when you add your website in the dashboard, so your delivery, returns and product pages become answers.

Requirements

• nopCommerce 4.90 or later
• An Asyntai account. Creating one is free, and the Free plan is enough to test the widget.
• Administrator access to your nopCommerce admin panel

Installation

Follow these steps to add Asyntai to your store:

Settings

The Configure page has four settings:

• Widget ID — which Asyntai assistant goes on the store. This is the only required setting.
• Pass customer details — send the name and the email address of the signed-in customer to the assistant, so it can greet them by name. Guests send nothing.
• Hide on checkout — hide the chat bubble on the checkout pages, so nothing distracts a shopper who is paying.
• Script URL — the address of the Asyntai loader. Keep the default value unless our support asks you to change it. The address must start with https://.

Multiple Stores

nopCommerce can run several stores from one installation. Every setting on the Configure page can be overridden per store, so each store can show a different assistant. Choose the store at the top of the page, tick the box next to a setting, and give that store its own value.

What the Plugin Reads

• Nothing at all, unless you tick Pass customer details
• With that setting on, it reads the name and email address of the signed-in customer, and sends them to the assistant for that visit
• It never reads your orders, your payment data or your customer list
• It writes nothing back to your store

Removing It

Open Configuration → Local plugins, press Uninstall on the Asyntai row, then press Restart application to apply changes. The chat bubble disappears at once, and the plugin deletes its own settings and text from your database. Nothing is left behind.

Privacy

The plugin adds one script and nothing else. Asyntai receives visitor data only when a shopper opens the chat and writes a message. Privacy policy.

Plans & Pricing

The plugin is free, and it works on every Asyntai plan, including the Free plan. Each plan includes a monthly number of messages, shared across your store widget and all your integrations. Paid plans raise that number. View pricing.
