How to Add Asyntai AI Chatbot to BuddyBoss

Étape 1 : Obtenir votre code d'intégration

Tout d'abord, rendez-vous sur votre Tableau de bord Asyntai et faites défiler jusqu'à la section « Code d'intégration ». Copiez votre code d'intégration unique qui ressemblera à ceci :

Step 2: Add Code via Theme Options → Custom Codes (Recommended)

BuddyBoss runs on WordPress, and the BuddyBoss theme includes a built-in place to add custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript site-wide. This is the easiest way to install Asyntai:

Log in to your WordPress Admin dashboard
In the left sidebar, go to BuddyBoss → Theme Options
Open the Custom Codes tab
Find the Space Before </body tag> field (the footer JavaScript area)
Paste your Asyntai embed code into this field
Click Save Changes
The chatbot will now load on every page of your community

Note : The Custom Codes tab supports HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that is output in the header or footer of all pages. Paste the Asyntai script exactly as copied — the "Space Before </body tag>" field is the recommended spot for best page load performance.

Alternative Method 1: Header/Footer Scripts Plugin (WPCode)

If you prefer to keep your scripts separate from theme settings, or if your child theme does not expose the Custom Codes field, a free header/footer scripts plugin such as WPCode works reliably:

In WordPress Admin, go to Plugins → Add New
Search for "WPCode" (or "Insert Headers and Footers"), then install and activate it
Allez dans Code Snippets → Header & Footer
Paste your Asyntai embed code into the Footer box
Click Save Changes
Le code sera désormais ajouté automatiquement à toutes les pages

Astuce : Using the Footer box (rather than the Header) loads the widget after your page content, which keeps your community fast. This method survives theme updates because the code lives in the plugin, not the theme.

Alternative Method 2: Child Theme footer.php

For developers who prefer editing theme files directly, you can add the embed code to your child theme's footer template so it renders through the standard wp_footer hook:

Make sure you are using a child theme so your changes survive BuddyBoss theme updates
In WordPress Admin, go to Appearance → Theme File Editor (or edit the file over FTP/SFTP)
Open the child theme's footer.php file
Paste your Asyntai embed code just before the closing </body> tag, above the wp_footer() call
Click Update File to save

Important : Always edit a child theme, not the main BuddyBoss theme. Editing the parent theme directly means your changes will be lost the next time BuddyBoss is updated.

Étape 3 : Vérifier l'installation

After saving your changes, open your community in a new browser tab or incognito window. You should see the chat widget button in the bottom right corner. Click it to ensure it opens and functions correctly.

Vous ne voyez pas le widget ? Make sure you've saved your changes. If your site uses a caching plugin or CDN, clear the cache and reload in incognito mode. Check the browser console (F12) for any JavaScript errors, and confirm you pasted your own widget ID.
