Allow Only Certain Languages
Choose which languages your AI chatbot may reply in
Starter, Standard & Pro Plans
Overview
By default, the AI replies in the language of each visitor's message. With Allow Only Certain Languages you choose the languages the AI may use. This is useful when your shop or your support team works only in certain languages.
How It Works
- You pick the languages - for example Ukrainian, English and Polish
- A visitor writes - if their language is on your list, the AI replies in it
- Any other language - the AI replies in the first language on your list
Setting It Up
- Open the Customize page and find the Allow Only Certain Languages card in the AI Behavior section.
- Add the languages in the order you want. The first one is the default.
- Changes are saved automatically. To go back to automatic replies, remove all languages.
Good to Know
This setting decides the reply language, even when your knowledge base or your instructions are written in another language.
