How to Add Asyntai AI Chatbot to Payhip

Trin 1: Hent din indlejringskode

Requirement: Payhip's code injection feature is only available if you have a custom domain connected to your Payhip store. If your store is still on the default payhip.com/b/... address, you must connect and verify your own domain first before you can add the Asyntai chatbot. See Payhip's help center for how to connect and verify a custom domain.

Step 2: Open the Store Builder

Payhip lets you inject custom HTML and JavaScript into your store through the Store Builder:

Log in to your Payhip account
Go to Store and launch the Store Builder (the visual editor for your storefront)
In the Store Builder, click Change store style
Select the Advanced tab

Tip: The Advanced tab is where Payhip keeps the Header and Footer HTML/JS Code Injection fields. This is the same place merchants use to add live chat widgets, newsletter forms, and tracking pixels.

Step 3: Paste Your Embed Code into Footer Code Injection

To add the chatbot to every page of your store:

In the Advanced section, find the Footer HTML/JS Code Injection field
Paste your Asyntai embed code into this field
Click Publish to save and apply your changes to the live store

Tip: Adding the code to the Footer field (rather than the Header) lets the page load first, which keeps your store fast. The chatbot will then appear on every page of your Payhip store automatically.

Bemærk: Injected code does not preview inside the Store Builder. You will only see the chat widget on your live, published store, so always check the real store address after publishing.

Trin 4: Verificer installationen

After publishing, open your live Payhip store (using your connected custom domain) in a new browser tab or incognito window. You should see the chat widget button in the bottom right corner. Click it to ensure it opens and functions correctly.

Ser du ikke widget'en? Make sure you clicked Publish and are viewing the live store, not the Store Builder preview. Confirm your custom domain is connected and verified, since code injection only works on custom domains. Clear your browser cache or view in incognito mode, and check the browser console (F12) for any JavaScript errors.
