Asana Integration
Turn every lead your chatbot captures into an Asana task, due today
Overview
Asana is where your team plans and tracks its work. The Asyntai integration puts your website leads into that plan. Your AI chatbot answers visitors day and night, and every visitor who leaves an email address or a phone number becomes a task in Asana, due today and assigned to you.
Each task carries the address, the page the visitor was on, their country and the whole conversation. You open the task and already know what the person asked, so your follow-up answers the real question.
How It Works
When you connect, Asyntai creates a project in your Asana workspace called Asyntai Leads. If you already have a project with that name, Asyntai uses it. If you belong to more than one workspace, you choose which one.
From then on every captured lead becomes a task in that project, named Follow up with and the visitor's address. The task is due today and assigned to you, so it shows up in My Tasks straight away.
When the same person comes back and chats again while their task is still open, Asyntai adds the new conversation as a comment on that task, so one person stays one task. After you complete the task, the next chat from that person opens a new one.
Requirements
- An Asana account, on any plan, including Personal
- An Asyntai account with a website and the chat widget installed
- In a company workspace, membership in at least one team, so the project has a home
Installation
Follow these steps to connect Asana:
Start the Connection
Open the Asana connect page. Sign in to Asyntai, or create a free account.
Allow Access in Asana
Asana asks you to allow Asyntai. Press Allow. If you are in more than one workspace, pick the one for your leads.
Test It
Open your website, chat with the bot and leave an email address. A task appears in the Asyntai Leads project in Asana.
Tip: Lead capture must be on for the leads to flow. Asyntai turns it on for you when you connect Asana, and you can change the wording of the question in your widget settings.
What Lands in Asana
- Task name — Follow up with, and the visitor's email or phone
- Assignee — you, the person who connected Asana
- Due date — the day the lead came in
- Description — email, phone, the page they were reading, their country and the whole conversation
- Comments — each later chat from the same person, while the task is open
Working With the Tasks
The tasks are normal Asana tasks. Reassign them to a teammate, move them into sections, add them to other projects, set custom fields, or complete them when you have replied. You can also rename the Asyntai Leads project or share it with your team.
Plans & Pricing
The Asana integration is available on all Asyntai plans, including Free. View pricing.
Uninstalling
Disconnect from your Asyntai dashboard. Asyntai gives up its access to your Asana at once and stops adding tasks. The Asyntai Leads project and every task in it stay as they are.
