WeWeb Integration

Add the Asyntai AI chat assistant to your WeWeb app

Overview

WeWeb is a no-code builder for web apps. The Asyntai integration is a free WeWeb library with one component called Asyntai AI Chatbot. Drop it on a page, paste your widget ID, and the chat bubble shows on your app.

The assistant answers your visitors from your own content, in more than 80 languages, day and night.

Requirements

  • A WeWeb project. The free WeWeb plan works
  • An Asyntai account. The Free plan is enough to try the widget

Installation

Follow these steps to add Asyntai to your WeWeb app:

Get Your Widget ID

Sign in to Asyntai and open the Install page. The widget ID is the value of data-asyntai-id in the snippet shown there. It starts with asyntai_.

Add the Library to Your Project

In the WeWeb Editor, open Assets, then Library, then Libraries. Find Asyntai AI Chatbot from the marketplace and add it to your project.

Drop the Component on a Page

Open Add, find the Asyntai AI Chatbot component, and drop it on the page. Put it in a section that every page shares, such as the header, to have the chat on the whole app.

Paste the Widget ID

Select the component and paste your widget ID in the Widget ID setting. Open Preview or publish the app. The chat bubble is in the corner.

The component has no size of its own, so it does not change your layout. To select it later, use the Layers panel.

How It Works

The component loads the Asyntai widget once. WeWeb apps change pages without a full reload, so the chat stays open while the visitor moves between pages, and the widget never loads twice.

Answering From Your Content

Asyntai reads your published pages. Add your app URL in the dashboard, and the assistant answers from the same pages the widget sits on. You can also add documents, and question and answer pairs.

Removing It

Delete the component from your pages and publish again. The chat bubble is gone.
