Simple setup on Remix

Every route of a Remix app renders inside the document in app/root.tsx. You add the script tag there once, deploy, and the chat shows on every route. Four steps, five minutes.

Sign up and copy your code

Create your Asyntai account, add your site's address and copy your code from the dashboard. The AI starts reading your pages right away.

Open app/root.tsx

Open app/root.tsx, or app/root.jsx if your project uses JavaScript. Find the <body> with the <Scripts /> component.

Add the script tag

Add the Asyntai script tag after <Scripts />, just before </body>. Keep async, so it does not block your app.

Deploy, and you're live

Build and deploy as usual. The chat bubble appears in the corner of every route and already answers your users.

Do not try to load the chat with the Scripts component: it only loads your own app code. A plain script tag next to it is the right place. The setup is the same in React Router 7 framework mode.

Do I need an npm package or a loader?

No. One script tag in app/root.tsx loads the chat on every route. There is no package to install, no loader or action to write and no dependency to update.

Does the chat need my server or an API key?

No. The chat runs on Asyntai servers and talks to them from the browser. Your loaders, actions and server stay as they are, and the only value in your code is your public site ID.

Will it slow down my Remix app?

No. The script loads asynchronously, after the server-rendered page is shown. It is not part of your route bundles, so your page speed and Core Web Vitals do not change.

How does the chatbot learn my content?

When you add your site's address, the AI reads your published pages: products, docs, blog posts and policies. You can upload documents and add your own instructions. After you publish new pages, run a new crawl from the dashboard.

Does it work with client-side navigation?

Yes. The script loads once with the document. When a user follows a Link to another route, Remix does not reload the page, so the chat stays open.

Will it conflict with my React components?

No. The chat loads outside your React tree and runs in an isolated space. It does not change your components, styles, loaders or routing.

Does it answer visitors who speak another language?

Yes. The chatbot detects the visitor's language and replies in it, even if your Remix site is only in English.

Can I use it on several sites?
