Overview

Asyntai's integration for Freshchat is an AI customer support agent that automatically responds to your customers' questions in real-time through Freshchat.

How to Install

Follow these steps to connect Asyntai to your Freshchat account:

Start the Connection

Visit the Freshchat connection page:

Create Your Account

Enter your website URL, email address, and create a password. This creates your Asyntai account.

Get Your API Key and Chat URL

In your Freshworks Admin Panel, go to Settings > Admin Settings > API Settings. Copy your API Key and Chat URL and paste them into the Asyntai setup form.

AI Learns Your Website

Asyntai automatically scans your website to understand your products, services, and FAQs. This takes about 30-60 seconds.

Configure Webhook in Freshchat

After setup, you'll receive a webhook URL. Go to your Freshchat Admin Panel, search for "Webhooks" in the search field, set it to Enabled, paste the webhook URL, and save.

You're Live!

Your AI agent is now responding to customer chats in Freshchat. Visit your Asyntai Dashboard to view conversations and customize your AI's behavior.

Set Up Your Knowledge & Instructions

Go to your Dashboard to add custom instructions, FAQs, and knowledge base content. This helps the AI provide accurate, brand-specific responses to your customers.

Important: The webhook configuration (Step 5) is required for the integration to work. Without configuring the webhook in your Freshchat admin panel, the AI agent will not receive or respond to any messages.

Tip: After installation, go to your Dashboard to customize your AI's instructions, add FAQs, and fine-tune responses.

What Happens Next

Once connected, when a customer sends a chat message in Freshchat, the AI automatically generates and sends a response. The AI remembers the full conversation context for natural, coherent replies. All conversations are visible in both your Freshchat dashboard and Asyntai analytics, and you can customize the AI's instructions and personality from your Asyntai dashboard.

Limitations

The Freshchat integration is limited to textual responses only. Some features available in the Asyntai chat widget are not supported in Freshchat due to platform constraints, including Product Cards, image displays, User Context, Image Vision, and Real-Time Data Feed. The AI will provide text-based responses with product links instead of rich media elements.

Pricing

Asyntai offers affordable pricing compared to alternatives. Start for free with 100 messages per month, no credit card required. Paid plans include Starter at $39/month for 2,500 messages, Standard at $139/month for 15,000 messages, and Pro at $449/month for 50,000 messages.
