Overview

Asyntai's Zapier integration allows you to connect your AI customer support agent to thousands of apps including Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Slack, Discord, SMS platforms, and more. When a message comes in from any connected platform, Zapier sends it to Asyntai and receives an AI-generated response to send back.

How to Install

Follow these steps to connect Asyntai to Zapier:

Get Your API Key

Visit the API Settings page to generate your API key:

Click Generate API Key and copy the key. Keep it secure - anyone with this key can access your Asyntai account via the API.

Connect Asyntai in Zapier

In Zapier, search for Asyntai when adding an action. When prompted, enter your API key to connect your account.

Create Your Zap

Build a Zap with two parts:

  • Trigger: New message from your platform (Messenger, Instagram, Slack, etc.)
  • Action: Asyntai - Send Message to AI

Map the message text and sender ID from your trigger to the Asyntai action.

Send the Response Back

Add another action to send the AI response back to the user. Use the response field from the Asyntai action as your reply message.

Turn On Your Zap

Test your Zap and turn it on. Your AI agent is now responding to messages automatically through Zapier!

Tip: Customize your AI's responses by adding instructions, FAQs, and knowledge base content in your Asyntai Dashboard.

API Reference

The Asyntai Zapier action uses the following API endpoint:

Send Message to AI

POST https://asyntai.com/api/zapier/chat/

Input Fields:

  • message (required) - The user's message to send to the AI
  • sender_id (required) - Unique identifier for the user
  • platform (optional) - Platform name (e.g., messenger, instagram, slack)

Output Fields:

  • success - Whether the request succeeded (true/false)
  • response - The AI-generated response text
  • sender_id - The sender ID that was provided

Example Use Cases

  • Facebook Messenger: Auto-respond to Messenger messages with AI
  • Instagram DMs: Handle Instagram Direct Messages automatically
  • Slack: Create an AI support bot in your Slack workspace
  • SMS: Connect with Twilio or other SMS providers for text support
  • Email: Auto-draft responses to support emails
  • Discord: Add AI support to your Discord server

Conversation History

Asyntai automatically maintains conversation history based on the sender_id you provide. Use a consistent sender ID for each user (like their phone number or user ID) so the AI remembers the context of previous messages.

Pricing

Asyntai offers affordable pricing compared to alternatives. Start for free with 100 messages per month, no credit card required. Paid plans include Starter at $39/month for 2,500 messages, Standard at $139/month for 15,000 messages, and Pro at $449/month for 50,000 messages.

Note: Zapier has its own pricing for Zap usage. Each message typically uses 2 Zapier tasks (one for the trigger, one for the action).
