Overview

Exclude Pages lets you hide the AI chat widget on specific pages of your website. This is useful for pages where you don't want the chat widget to appear, such as checkout pages, admin areas, or private sections.

Simply enter the URLs of pages you want to exclude, and the widget will automatically hide on those pages while remaining visible everywhere else.

How It Works

  1. Add page URLs - Enter the full URLs of pages to exclude
  2. Separate with commas - Add multiple URLs separated by commas
  3. Widget hides automatically - The chat widget won't appear on those pages

Common Use Cases

Hide the chat widget on pages where it might interfere or isn't needed:

Checkout Pages Avoid distractions during purchase
Admin Areas Keep internal pages clean
Login/Signup Pages Focus users on authentication
Private Sections Member-only or sensitive areas

Adding Excluded Pages

Enter page URLs in the exclusion list. You can add multiple URLs separated by commas:

Single Page Enter the full URL of the page https://example.com/checkout
Multiple Pages Separate URLs with commas https://example.com/checkout, https://example.com/admin

URL Examples

Here are examples of pages you might want to exclude:

Valid
https://example.com/checkout
Valid
https://example.com/admin/dashboard
Valid
https://example.com/login
Valid
https://example.com/private-area

Tip: Use the full URL including https:// for best results. The exclusion is based on exact URL matching.

Managing Exclusions

From the Exclude Pages settings, you can:

  • Add exclusions - Enter URLs and click Save
  • Edit exclusions - Modify the list and save again
  • Clear all exclusions - Remove all exclusions with one click

Note: Exclusions only apply to the currently selected website. If you have multiple websites, you'll need to set exclusions for each one separately.

How Matching Works

The widget checks the current page URL against your exclusion list:

  • Exact match - The URL must match exactly what you entered
  • Case sensitive - URLs are matched exactly as entered
  • Per-website - Exclusions are specific to each website

Important: Make sure to enter the complete URL including the protocol (https://). Partial URLs or paths alone may not work correctly.
