Overview

Enable Smarter Model activates a more capable AI model for your chatbot. When enabled, your AI uses an advanced model that better understands complex questions and provides higher quality responses.

This feature is ideal when you need your AI to handle nuanced conversations, understand context better, and provide more accurate answers to challenging questions.

How It Works

  1. Visitor asks a question - They send a message in the chat
  2. Smarter AI processes - The advanced model analyzes the question with better understanding
  3. Quality response - A more accurate and contextually aware answer is delivered

Tip: You can enable both features together for maximum quality - Smarter Model provides a more capable AI, while Enable Thinking adds extended reasoning on top of it.

Good to Know

Responses may differ from the default model - for example, answers may be longer or more detailed. Both models are good, but this one is overall smarter.

The speed is very comparable - while the smarter model may be slightly slower, the difference is minimal.

We recommend testing both to see which one fits better for your specific use case.

When to Enable

Smarter Model is most beneficial when:

  • Complex products/services - When your offerings require nuanced explanations
  • Technical questions - Handling detailed technical inquiries accurately
  • Multi-topic conversations - When visitors switch between topics frequently

Enable Smarter Model

Turning on Smarter Model is simple:

Go to Smarter Model Open the Enable Smarter Model page

Click Enable Click the "Enable Smarter Model" button

Done! Your AI will now use the smarter model for all responses

Tip: You can disable Smarter Model anytime by clicking "Disable Smarter Model" on the same page. Test both options to see which works best for your visitors.
